I have an idea for a FSCONS track. Maybe someone wants to pick this idea up and organise it?

Track title: What is going on in the free software projects? Status reports from big, important projects in the free software movement.

The status reports could contain the following information, both in an organisational and a technical perspective: What has happened in the project in resent time? What challenges lies ahead? What kind of work is going on at the moment? What work is planned for the immediate future?

Suggestions about interesting projects:
* Linux kernel
* Gnu, some important sub-projects or the whole project in general
* Gnome
* KDE
* Debian
* Ubuntu/Canonical
* Apache
* Mozilla
* Wikipedia
* FSF
* Organisations that develop web things?
* Maybe Open JDK?
* There are loads of smaller projects for tools that loads of people use and might be interested in a report about: Emacs, Vim, Git, Eclipse, programming languages, GCC, Wordpress, Django, Bitbucket/Github/Gitorious, Diaspora. What do you use every day?

Maybe the talks do not need to be an hour long, maybe half an hour would be suitable?

/Jens
