Is there interest to have a chill section at FSCONS with a
(relatively) large number of Chill Bill sitting bags?

I think this could be something nice yes , I will discuss it at the
next meeting.

Chill Bill sitting bags are invented by Tom Madlangsrud, a guy here
in Oslo, and they come in many sizes and shapes, they are soft and
malleable and made of polyurethane (much better than the "pearls"
of Sacco sacks and beanie bags). Chill Bill bags can be used
individually, or they can be built into more or less complex chairs,
sofas or other creative shapes, like lego blocks. They are common in
use at IT conferences and festivals in Norway for chill sections.

Cool, thanks for posting the idea.

I've checked that he would be interested, so now I'm suggesting the
idea here.

Would he let us borrow some Chill Bill sitting bags?

I can ask him. So far I have only asked if he would be interested
in the idea.

Here are some more thoughts on how to do this:

1. I'm thinking that I can ask him to be a sponsor for FSCONS --
meaning that he pays all his own expenses, gasoline etc. and
let us borrow the sitting bags during FSCONS.

So then my question is, what do sponsors get in return? I'm
guessing their name/logo/link to their website on FSCONS'
web site and in the program flyer? Anything else?

2. Tom indicated that he would need help from volunteers at
FSCONS to unload and carry the bags from the van and into the
chill section, and back to the van after FSCONS.

3. He would obviously be happy if people at FSCONS bought some
of the bags and he didn't have to drive them all back to Norway.
Maybe FSCONS or FFKP would be interested to buy sitting bags for
use at other events?

Thomas
