I'm not an expert on graphical design and I don't have very
strong opinions about it, except for one thing: I really like
the FSCONS logo!

So I would oppose changing it or disregarding it in promotional
material. I wouldn't mind changing the colors (e.g., they could
be changed every year, each year having its own colors), but the 
basic shape and relation of the three half-circle arrows should
be preserved, IMO.

Also, maybe new graphical material could build upon the logo,
making more complex circle and arrow structures, but so that
the logo pattern can be recognized (e.g., not square or
rectangular).
