Can you remind us why we use eventbrite this year? While I understand
you have a busy schedule does it take much time to use the same system
as we did last year, I guess it would more or less be a question of
installing the same app and create a new empty database right?

Can you provide any estimate on how many hours it would take for you
to set it up and maintain?

I do think using a solution like eventbrite (basically a proprietary
web app) for handling such as a critical part of our infrastructure is
very questionable. Beside the ethical issues this is something that
can potentially backfire on us, with many potential attendees question
the decision. I any case I think it will cause problem, if nothing
else I see it hurt the public image of FSCONS.

I would suggest to wait with start the ticket sales until early next
week, want to announce this year keynote speakers first.
