Too bad, due to other commitments I am not stepping forward myself

This is of course appreciated. Thanks for the effort, even if it is
to be the last one. I am looking forward to be there.

This sounds reasonable, if you feel that it will reduce your workload.

The former locations were of course very nice and the practicalities
well organized, I would not wish any change from my perspective.
On the other side, being at a somewhat isolated place has its
advantages, the participants would have more time together.
