It's not about ownership or copyright, it is about contract / 
permission (they agreed to video recording and publishing when 
they agreed to talk at the conference), and about public interest 
and access.

I also suggest that FSCONS create a non-public archive for 
not-published or unpublished material. I don't know if Youtube 
offers such a service, but Vimeo does.
