I'll be contrarian and say that I like the poster. I too miss the
swirl, but that can likely be incorporated without to much of a bother.

To me, the poster seems to illustrate communication, or rather the
breakdown of communication. It's a bit dystopian, but I happen to like
that. What it lacks is perhaps hope of change, the transformative
force that FSCONS hopes to be in levelling the field.
