I agree it should definitely be clear how to get an item onto the board
agenda and when board meetings are held. For this continued consistent
use of the wiki is the obvious way. But this proposal/suggestion have
several problematic parts: i) this added step of required attendance
will make it harder for most people to add items, and ii) it will not
work for all items for several reasons. And iii) if you then also remove
the option to send in items through ordinary channels expected to be
working to address the board like email
board AT fscons.org
and by
snailmail you also make it seriously harder. So please elaborate on why
these added restrictions would be needed -- I do not see it. And cannot
endorse it as is. In its current form this suggestion will make it
harder for everyone. If it is something else that is addressed not
explicitly put on public display in full except a subject line the board
meeting minutes will let any member know what has been brought up.

If unsure wether a subject is a board issue or not it could ofcourse be
brought up on this list if not sensitive or at a work meeting or at your
own discretion contact the board directly.
